Strata Ireland is proud to present the latest addition to their product range, Strata Railwood. Sourced from renewable forestry, Strata Railwood has been treated to enhance the natural grain of the timber, making Strata Railwood an ideal product for use in both contemporary and rugged landscaping designs.
Designed as an eco friendly alternative to reclaimed railway sleepers the product design has evolved, leading to the incorporation of a number of additional features, each adding to the overall benefit to
you the end consumer.
Aware of the importance of sustainability in our homes, Strata Ireland sought to offer an aesthetically pleasing product, which would work towards avchieving the minimum required levels of water management for sustainable homes. Building on the permeable nature of timber, Railwood has been designed to maximise the level of water returned to the natural watershed, thus reducing the risk of localised/flash flooding and ensuring fresh water supplies for future generations.
Strata Railwood is easily handled and manoeuvred and features the innovative design feature ‘Real-Lock’. The use of ‘Real-Lock’ timber products allows for the products usage in the construction of numerous garden features, such as retaining walls, raised beds, decking etc. without the need for pre-drilling.
